Megan Zadow

My name is Megan Zadow. I have been doing hair as long as I can remember. Hair was my first love and has become a life-long passion. As a stylist, I strive to go above and beyond for my guests. I love to teach artistry to my clients so they can recreate and maintain their look at home.
My career started In Ames, IA, where I graduated from the Professional Cosmetology Institute in 2003. I worked in Des Moines for a few years then relocated to Denver, CO where I continued to practice hair. I am very happy to have been back in Des Moines since 2012.
While in Denver, I managed a barbershop and obtained my barbers license in the state of CO. I have a passion for continued education as I’m always trying to better myself and learn the newest trends and techniques in my industry. For that reason, I have been trained in cutting and color techniques in Aveda, Bumble and Bumble, Paul Mitchell, American Crew, Hudivani, Rusk, Redken; as well as Wella, Schwartzkopf, Oligo and Alter Ego color techniques, Deva Curl cutting and Aquage updos. I have been to multiple hair shows including Vegas and Chicago and have had one on one training at the Bumble and Bumble institute in NYC.

I am so lucky to have had the best job since 1992. It’s different everyday! I get to connect with people and make them look and feel amazing. When I am not in the salon I love to spend time with family enjoying nature, dog walks, and travel.

I live in Urbandale with my husband and 3 kids. I have been doing hair since 2003 and loved every second of it. I love the feeling of having clients walk out feeling better than they did when they walked in. My time at Harmony has been awesome!
